She was only dreaming... (Music Challenge part2)

Yesterday was the reveal of the Challenge of Music blog hop hosted by Erin of Tesori Trovati. I spent quite a bit of time listening and working to Marillion over the last month as I worked on my piece, and other things in the jewelry studio.

Retail therapy

Saturday was a day of retail therapy and fabulous friends - old and new. I went to the Berks Bead Bazaar with my friend Marsha (Marsha Neal Studio) and her daughter Chloe - bead babe in training! I stated emphatically in the car " I don't NEED anything..." but was very much looking forward to lunch with friends and a bit of eye candy...

Friends and flowers.

This past weekend - is it Thursday already? - I had a fantastic weekend with my college roomates. We try to do this every year, and it is as if no time has passed. What a pleasure to simply spend time together, catch up, and just be. This year we went to Alison's and spent time in nearby Philadelphia. Perfect that our weekend coincided with the Flower Show...

(Note - these pictures are all exactly as shot with my iPhone. No filters. I was pleased.)

Filtered flowers, fun with Instagram

Oops. Day or two later than I promised... I wanted to post a few more pictures from the Philadelphia weekend and the Flower show. I set aside the images that I had altered, applied filters to in Instagram. It is one of the hundreds of things I love about my iPhone. Bloom and Grow - Suburban Girl Design Team Spring Challenge

Good Morning! I am pleased to welcome you to the Spring edition of Suburban Girl Studio's Design Team Hop and Reveal. I was thrilled when Diana asked me to be on her design team. She and I totally hit it off, and have so much in common - including the fact that we make ceramic pendants, charms... So why be on her team? Her work is lovely, and totally different from my own. What a creative  'shot in the arm" to be sent lovelies in the mail and get to make jewelry with them!
